Give the gift of hope this Christmas
Every child deserves to feel remembered, loved, and filled with hope at Christmas.
A Christmas Assistance Program by A Door of Hope Outreach
Gifts of Hope was created to bring Christmas joy to children who are facing the absence of a parent due to circumstances that can be especially difficult during the holiday season.
Bringing Christmas Joy to Children Who Need It Most
This program serves children who:
- Have lost a parent due to addiction or overdose
- Have lost a parent to suicide
- Have a parent who is currently incarcerated
Through the generosity of our donors and community, A Door of Hope Outreach hopes to provide meaningful Christmas gifts while reminding each child that they are seen, they are valued, and their community cares about them.
🎁 Apply for Gifts of Hope
Christmas can be especially difficult for a child who is facing the absence of a parent. Gifts of Hope was created to bring a little extra joy, love, and hope to children walking through circumstances they did not choose.
A Door of Hope Outreach is accepting applications for Christmas assistance for children who:
- Have lost a parent due to addiction or overdose
- Have lost a parent to suicide
- Have a parent who is currently incarcerated
If a child in your care meets one of these circumstances, we invite you to apply for our Gifts of Hope Christmas Program.
Our goal is to learn a little about each child their interests, needs, and Christmas wishes so that, when possible, we can provide gifts chosen especially for them.
We understand that the information shared in this application may be personal and difficult. We ask only for the information necessary to determine eligibility and help us serve your child with dignity and care.
Before You Apply
Please understand that completing an application does not guarantee assistance. All applications will be reviewed, and assistance will be based on program eligibility, available donations, and the number of children we are able to serve.
We may request documentation to verify eligibility. Please do not submit Social Security numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information.
One application should be submitted per household.
❤️ Our Hope for Your Child
This program is about more than Christmas presents. We want every child we serve to know that even during a difficult chapter in their life, they are seen, they are cared for, and they have not been forgotten.
Our prayer is that each gift brings a smile on Christmas morning, but also something even greater—a reminder that there is still hope, there is still love, and there are people who care.
Sharing God's love. Giving joy. Bringing hope.
“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18
